scope of his lyrics, but shouldn't be. And he's even sexier in person. 
This is Peter Lloyd. 

An overnight sensation 12 years in the making, Lloyd is just beginning to 
get the respect he truly deserves.

From Dancehall Queen in 1993 through to Hardcore, Top Five singles 
Perfect Body, Oh My Darling and Pose with the Diva of Raw Lady Saw, 
Lloyd maintained a presence on radio and in the charts through the 90s.
 
A gifted actor with 10 movies to his credit, this multi-faceted talent 
wowed audiences with his energy and versatility in the resort towns of 
Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, honing his skills even while 
continuing to put out singles. 

The new millennium was the dawn of a new age for Lloyd. A rising wave 
of popularity has been building since he hit the airwaves with Walk 
Through Fire, building on his ever- growing fan base with Ready For 
Love and Concrete Jungle. By the time he dropped Magnet and Wake Dem 
Up, Lloyd's name was on the lips of everyone from breathless 
schoolgirls to inner-city 'dons' and preppy Uptowners. 

Not too shabby for a boy from Pembrooke Hall, off the rough Whitehall 
Avenue in Kingston. He insists he started singing in church, led by his 
evangelist Grandmother who still prays for him daily. 

And this is just the beginning. With each song showing a different 
facet of a man equally at ease talking about loving the ladies, justice 
and 'buil'in' a vibe for thugs on the enz,' Lloyd is on the verge of an 
explosion, and already regarded as the singers heir apparent of the ilk 
of Beres Hammond, Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs. 

Wrap all of this in a form that draws the eye, making women lick their 
lips and men acknowledge respect due to his natural confidence and 
unassuming manner, and you've got an unstoppable force destined for
