Dated 25th June 2003. I have just heard from New York the Singer Vic Taylor has died today at the age of 56, he suffered a cardiac arrest. He had been living in Unionville New York. Vic known as the Jamaican Frank Sinatra had hits in the 1960's a stand out classic of his "My Heartaches" recorded for Duke Reid at Treasure Isle Studios in 1969 the song and rhythm was revisited recently by Producer Lloyd "Spiderman" Campbell featuring the vocals of Lloyd Brown. Another sad loss to Jamaican Music. Our deepest sympathies goes out to his family. One Love, Miss PAt RAW#1590 Producer "Black Echoes Music Programme" Dublin City 103.2FM Dublin Ireland.
