The music is based around the Early 70's with a style of the well known Pop-A-Top riddims used by many producers of the time, mainly Reggae but some slow soul type tunes as well. Not a bad start from a self-produced Group/label nstrumentals are Keyboard & Melodica based, some melodies are very reminiscent of those bygone days when you had Version Fever!. - * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * -- * - Finally, I've just finished Compiling a CD Sampler for Collectors of the Rarest, the Hardest and Possibly the Best Rock Steady Music you've ever heard. Some 67 tracks have been compiled on a CD circa upwards to 90 seconds of each in an A-Z title format, track marked but continuous play mode of overlapping tracks. With the help of Two UK Leading Sound System operators, these extracts have been made available for Collectors Only to hear, quite a few tunes have been up for Grabs on my Auction lists over the past Ten Years, there are some real Gems that nobody has put out yet, and some totally unknown Golden nuggets, to be sure. This is intended as an aid and a guide to collecting Jamaican Music from all eras, in this instance Rock Steady, a Ska set will follow soon. If interested please contact me... majestic@freeuk.com
