Known as a reggae institution in Tucson since 1984,Neon Prophet
plays a unique blend of reggae music which appeals to both hardcore
fans and new comers alike.  Trading off instruments and vocals
throughout the course of a show is one of the secrets of their appeal.
Mixing Roots, Dancehall and soca, and flavoring it along the way with
latin,Jazz,rock and funk is another.

    Opening for the likes of Third World,Steel Pulse, Black Uhuru,
Jimmy Cliff, Dennis Brown,Maxi Priest, Burning Spear, Mighty Diamonds
and maney more,Neon Prophet never fails to turn in a burning
performance.
      
	Their frequent tours brought them to such diverse places as
ClubMed in Sonora Mexico, The Hopi Indian reservation in Arizona,the
Vail Reggae Festival in Colorado and the White Sands AirForce Base in
New Mexico. To date they have two cassettes and two CDs released.
